I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have helped to make the last two years of One on One Photography Workshops a success. In particular all of you Wisconsin and Illinois photographers.
2008 /2009 has been a busy time for One on Ones with more to come.
One on One Workshops are designed to give you the personal attention just not possible in a larger workshops setting. These workshops are all about you. Whether you are just beginning or are a seasoned photographer it gives you the opportunity to step up to the next level. As always I will learn from you as well. My One on Ones this year have included photographers with there first digital camera, some with film cameras, both negative and slide, and at least one photographer who has been published in magazines before. Do you like doing close-up work? Flowers, insects, you name it. I have been doing macros for over 30 years and have been published in dozens of magazines and books in this format. Landscapes your thing. I have over 50 calendar credits in digital, 35mm, medium format and 4x5 large format. For those of you taking the big leap into serious wildlife photography, over 60% of my shooting is done in the world of the wild animal. Is historic architecture such as lighthouses where your interest falls? I have worked with and been published by the Society For Historic Preservation. I am also available for autumn color workshops. Having done fall photography in this area for many years I know the best locations. The only thing I love more than creating images and seeing them published is sharing my knowledge with others.
Just a few credits over the years include, National Geographic Books (wildlife, landscapes, insects & flowers), Wisconsin Trails Magazine and calendars (landscapes & macros), Smithsonian (butterflies), Outdoor Photographer (landscapes), Birder's World (wildbirds), Birds & Blooms (butterflies & flowers),
Defenders of Wildlife (wildlife & landscapes), Wisconsin Natural Resources ( wild mammals, wild birds, insects & landscapes) and on and on. Early years brought over a thousand credits in sports editorial, mostly auto racing.
Join me at your favorite Southeastern WI or Northeastern ILLINOIS location or have me guide you to my favorite places. In fact with an additional gas allowance I will travel to more distant areas to share what I know about photography with you.
