You are invited to join Wayne Nelson at his first Hawthorn Hollow Indoor/Outdoor photo workshop. This workshop is specifically designed to give you the best of both worlds. We will meet at Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary located in Kenosha, county WI. We will have use of the meeting room at what is the renovated historic old original horse barn on this property.

We will discuss photography, and perhaps view some of Wayne's photos.

Bring your best questions and Wayne will discuss the how's and whys of his images. Then we will head outdoors to Hawthorn's great bird feeding station. They have been build with a lot of natural wood supports. There is also a backdrop of trees to use for natural imagery. For those interested and if conditions are right, we can take a walk in the woods and do some winter landscape photography. Afterwards, we will return to the "old barn" and

Hawthorn Hollow is located on Highway 31 in Kenosha county, Wisconsin.

It is on the west side of Highway 31 across the road from Petrifying Springs County Park. It is signed and sits between county roads A and E.
